Learn about Biodesign, the future of materials, manufacturing, architecture and fashion. Open Cell featured 70 experimental studios in shipping containers including the first open access bio-lab and biomaterial-lab in London. We hosted exhibitions, performances, workshops and talks.
The festival hosted over 55 international designers and start-ups showcasing cutting-edge ideas that will shape our futures. 55 Projects, 12 talks and 12 workshops that break the boundaries between biology, design, and technology.
The exhibition took place at Open Cell—a shipping container village in Shepherds Bush London, with offices, workshops and biology labs for early-stage startups, designers and the community.
